2012 Rolex 24 at Daytona Team/Driver Entry List

The following list is an preliminary list for the 2012 Rolex 24 at Daytona as of January 10th. The 50th annual Rolex 24 at Daytona is set for January 28th.


Grand Am Rolex Series Daytona Prototype Class

For the first time since 2008, a new look Daytona Prototype class will debut in 2012 in accordance to new Grand Am Rolex Series rules. Rolling along the high-banked Daytona International Speedway turns will be refreshed Riley along with the Dallara and Lola chassis cars. Set to make a stunning class debut is the Chevrolet Corvette DP car with five vehicles set to race with a Chevrolet V-8 engine.

Grand Am Rolex Series GT Class

A category consisting of production-based sports cars, the Grand Am Rolex Series GT Class will again feature the teams competing with the Chevrolet Camaro, Porsche GT3, BMW M3 and the Mazda RX-8. GT Class for the 2012 Rolex 24 at Daytona will see the debut of the Ferrari 458 Italia race car and the series entrance of Audi with their R8 supercar.
